ULU- Award Press release
ULU Wins ‘Best New CBD Brand’ At GHP Fitness And Nutrition Awards
- The CBD company has beat out stiff competition to be awarded the title of ‘Best New CBD brand’
- ULU, founded by former motorsport director and CBD advocate Paul Hembery hopes to revolutionise the industry, using cutting edge ultrasonic technology and the most premium products available on the market
- The prestigious win comes as ULU and The Harley Street Hospital at 19 Harley St announce a first-of-its kind partnership for the CBD industry
The team at www.ULU.com is thrilled to have been crowned Best New CBD Brand at the GHP Fitness and Nutrition Awards, an event held by Global Health & Pharma Magazine to celebrate businesses that strive to care for consumers bodies and minds.
The award win coincides with a first-of-its-kind partnership with world-renowned private healthcare provider, The Harley Street Hospital at 19 Harley St. This is the first time a CBD brand has partnered with a hospital in this fashion, with 19 Harley Street now able to dispense medical grade cannabis products provided by ULU.
The partnership hopes to better educate the CBD industry and further normalise the use of CBD within traditional medicine, and help the general consumer better understand the undeniable health benefits of using CBD.
Four products have been released in conjunction with the collaboration, specifically for The Harley Street Hospital at 19 Harley St’s London Spine Unit, to assist in patient recovery. These products include CBD Chill oil, to assist with stress and anxiety, CBD Sleep, helping patients get better sleep, CBD Massage Oil, to ease scarring and CBD Recovery Cream, which helps with muscle aches.
CBD is still very much misunderstood among the UK general public, and so ULU and 19 Harley Street Hospital are aiming for this partnership – along with the subsequent release of educational materials and information on the benefits of CBD – to turn the tide on widespread misconceptions relating to the industry.
The founder of ULU, Paul Hembery, started using CBD as a result of his familiarity with stressful and high-pressure environments, such as the world of motorsport. He commented:
“Winning this award so early in ULU’s life is truly an honour. CBD has been life-changing for me, helping with jetlag when I was working in motorsport but also helping to manage my arthritis. I founded ULU because I want more people to understand how powerful and effective CBD can be for a variety of different health issues, such as scarring, anxiety, PTSD, CBD for acne and so many more. It’s come at such an exciting time for our business and we are absolutely thrilled to announce the award win at the same time that our partnership with The Harley Street Hospital at 19 Harley St is launched. Dr Mo Akmal is one of the most pioneering orthopaedic spinal surgeons in the world and to work with him, helping his patients get better with use of our CBD products, is very exciting. We can’t wait to educate more people about CBD an introduce them to its wide-ranging benefits.”
